Zomblebee Sound Effects

Way back on 19th October Stephen, Michael and I gathered together in front of a microphone and made weird noises for a couple of hours, all the while being filmed. We also had the pleasure of having Will Wright join us, yes, that Will Wright*

We were of course recording sound effects for our upcoming Xbox Hive Indie Game: Zomblebee

You can watch the video below or by visiting our YouTube channel and as you can see, it's a very professional affair!

Massive thanks to Stephen for putting the video together, meaning I didn't have to go all tyrannical dictator on him... again

*Probably not the Will Wright you were thinking of actually, sorry for the confusion

Level Design for Zomblebee

When we're not knee deep in infected honey we like to think we do good work over here at +AsDesigned Games HQ. Luckily Cathal has helped prove this statement true by producing some excellent art work for our up and coming Xbox Hive Indie title Zomblebee!

The two images below, depicting a typical city park, show the art style and potential night/day mechanic that will be used for one of our levels.

Keep an eye out for future competitions on Twitter and Facebook where you could win fame, or notoriety, by being placed into the world of Zomblebee!

For more of Cathal's work check out his portfolio here - Cathal 'Hollywood' Kelly

Cheers,

Woody

Introducing Michael Doig

We feel very lucky here at +AsDesigned Games to have the artistic talents of BAFTA nominated artist Michael Doig working with us on Zomblebee.

Michael impressed us very early on when he produced this brilliant character concept art (below) within the first few hours of discussing the project with him.

And within a few days he’d added colour to the initial sketches to really bring the ideas to life.

See more of Michael’s work here.
